She had just tucked her three children into bed. Her husband was on the phone to a friend when he unexpectedly dies in front of her, at the age of thirty-five. The coroner could only describe it as Sudden Adult Death syndrome.
He died three weeks before their twin boys’ fourth birthday, a month before Christmas. She remembered her church background, and the teachings of Chuck Missler, and knew that she was held and comforted. God sent her a new husband to help her, but six days before their wedding day, her brother was tragically killed in a work accident.
It is times like these keep them strong in their faith. “More often than not,” she said, “you get messages that speak directly to your heart, and things that you need to hear for that point of time, for that season, for that very moment.”
Church isn’t available 24/7, but God sends people to help, love and support us. “because you don’t know when you are going to be in that dark place, and need to receive that.”
